Weaver Communications

What kind of systems do we have?

Weaver Communications has a number of UHF Trunked radio systems throughout central and eastern North Carolina. These systems provide excellent reliability and extraordinary coverage, while allowing the use of inexpensive Kenwood radio equipment. These systems use the LTR (Logic Trunked Radio) protocol to communicate with excellent quality voice and data service.

How The Startup Process Works:

You purchase the radios from Weaver Communications. We get them in from Kenwood (Normally 2-3 days) and check them out and program them for our system. If they are just portable radios, we will deliver them to you, show you how to use them, and then you start talking!

For mobile radios, we will schedule an installation time convenient for you to install the radio and antenna. The antennas are small and discreet, and do not require drilling holes in your vehicle!

Installation costs for mobile radios vary due to the complexity of the installation. An average cost is about $75-$100.

Base stations can also be set up for a modest cost. Due to the variations involved with these installations, a site vist has to be made so a quote can be developed.

Whenever we have a new client who switches to our system, we provide that client with a custom instruction guide to the radios and to the system in general. We also provide training (at no charge) to your employees to show them how everything works. We are not satisfied until YOU are satisfied that everything is working like you want it to be.
